Aviva Shiff Boedecker, J.D. works with nonprofit organizations to develop and maintain endowment and gift planning programs. She has served as Director of Gift Planning for the Marin Community Foundation, Director of Planned Giving at the University of California, Berkeley and started San Francisco Ballet's planned giving program.
Aviva has served on the board of the National Committee on Planned Giving and is a past president and current board member of the Northern California Planned Giving Council. She is currently the President of the Marin County Estate Planning Council and is a member of the Advisory Board of the UC Berkeley Wealth Management Program. Aviva has been a member of Planned Giving Today's Editorial Advisory Board, writes for many planned giving publications and is a frequent lecturer on planned giving.
Aviva is an alumna of the University of California, Berkeley and Hastings College of Law, and is a member of the California State Bar.
