Through our extensive statewide network of volunteers, OCF remains connected to local communities. Strengthened by a corps of volunteers numbering in the hundreds, these local eyes and ears help identify community needs, successful nonprofit initiatives and donor opportunities.
Together, we are improving the quality of life for Oregonians. Here are some of our key programs:
Regional Action Initiative (RAI)
This three-year initiative promotes more of what OCF does best - bringing citizens together to address common needs and hopes. RAI provides a one-time, one-million dollar special allocation to each of OCF’s seven service regions. OCF’s volunteer leadership councils will select a regional issue and identify a strategy focused on a sustained solution to the challenges.
Oregon Involved
The Oregon Community Foundation is committed to engaging citizens through Oregon Involved, a website that makes it easy for Oregonians to get involved and make a difference in their communities.
Volunteers
The Oregon Community Foundation is a community-based organization that reaches all of Oregon through a network of over 1,500 knowledgeable, active, and committed volunteers. These volunteers secure opinions and ideas about how The Oregon Community Foundation can best serve Oregonians’ needs.
