Kaiser Permanente Northwest and Providence Health and Services Win the Innovation in Philanthropy Award

Congratulations to Kaiser Permanente Northwest and Providence Health and Services for winning the Innovation in Philanthropy Award from the Portland Business Journal. The award honors companies that show creativity in their collaborations with nonprofits and other philanthropic partners. Kaiser and Providence set up a $1.2 million fund at The Oregon Community Foundation to support a three-year project focused on nonprofits working in behavioral health services. Four Portland-area nonprofits received grants through the partnership: Volunteers of America-Oregon, Oregon Primary Care Association, Lifeworks NW and Comprehensive Options for Drug Abusers Inc. (CODA).
