This webinar will discuss the status of these habitats and how climate change affects the health of Oregon’s diverse ecosystems.

What are the policy pathways in Oregon, Washington, and California to reduce greenhouse gas emissions?
This conversation will offer insights into what it takes to implement a mandatory greenhouse gas reduction plan, using California’s law called AB 32 as an example. AB 32 requires a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 levels by 2020. Leading policymakers in Oregon and Washington will also discuss the challenges and opportunities in relation to transitioning all Pacific Northwest states to pathways that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
