Advised Funds

A donor advised fund allows you to recommend specific nonprofits you would like to benefit. This is an efficient and cost-effective way to donate without the hassles and expense of a private foundation. In 2016, OCF donor advised funds granted nearly 38 million to nonprofit organizations across Oregon.

Through a donor advised fund, you’ll have the opportunity to name your own charitable fund, identify organizations you’d like to support, and connect and collaborate with other donors. Donor advised funds are also a great way to engage your family in philanthropy and in get involved in your community.
