Giving In Oregon
OCF Report on Charitable Giving Trends

For two decades Oregon Community Foundation (OCF) has tracked charitable giving in the state. Oregonians consistently demonstrate their generosity — surpassing U.S. giving in support of a vital network of Oregon nonprofits.

For the first time in more than a decade, data shows that Oregonians gave at a lower rate than Americans overall.

Now is a critical fundraising time for more than 20,000 nonprofits across the state working to build stronger neighborhoods, serve the most vulnerable populations and enrich the lives of all Oregonians.

How You Can Help

Thanks to the generosity of Oregonians, OCF distributes more than $100 million in grants and scholarships annually. Since 1973 OCF grantmaking, research, advocacy and community-advised solutions have helped individuals, families, businesses and organizations create charitable funds to improve lives for all Oregonians.

We are grateful to a vast network of community leaders, volunteers, nonprofits and donors who, together, are creating measurable impact through the power of philanthropy.

If you would like to give but are unsure where to donate — consider the OCF Leadership Fund.
