The Skyrman Techno Fund

The Skyrman Techno Fund of The Oregon Community Foundation was established by Wally Skyrman to provide financial resources to science and industrial arts teachers (grades 4-12) and other youth program instructors in Jackson County. 

Application Guidelines

This fund supports programs that engage students in innovative, hands-on, educational activities, giving students practical skills that enable them to use tools in order to do things for themselves.

Programs of interest to this fund include bike repair; cooking; sewing; robotics; home maintenance skills; GPS navigation; agri-science; and other programs where something is engineered or constructed. Preference is given to extracurricular activities, but classroom activities will also be considered.
