Bandon resident Penny Allen has been elected to serve a four-year term on the board of directors of The Oregon Community Foundation. Penny is a senior partner and principal broker of Bandon Property. She has extensive community experience, having served as board president of the largest K-6 school district in California and as the first woman president of the San Diego Rotary club.
Penny has been a volunteer with The Oregon Community Foundation since 2004, serving as chair of the OCF South Coast Leadership Council. She also championed OCF’s Ready to Smile program, an initiative to improve children’s dental health in Coos and Curry counties.
“OCF is excited to have such an engaged and passionate community leader like Penny Allen join the board of directors,” said OCF President and CEO Max Williams. “As a statewide community foundation, we also value Penny’s connection to Oregon’s South Coast and the communities we serve in this region.”
