We are pleased to announce that Roberto Franco recently joined The Oregon Community Foundation as the director of the Latino Partnership Program.
The Latino Partnership Program works to strengthen leaders and organizations in the Latino community, supports education and services that encourage Latinos to become more integrated and influential in their communities, and helps to forge strong ties between Latino and non-Latino communities and leaders.
Over the past decade, OCF, through the LPP, has been working in partnership with local Latino leaders and statewide organizations to engage with Oregon’s fastest growing community. Roberto was involved in the Latino Partnership Program in the Northern Willamette Valley, and he also served on OCF’s Northern Willamette Valley Leadership Council and on the LPP advisory group for several years.
Most recently, Roberto was a program manager at the State Housing and Community Services Department; previously, he was Executive Director of the Farmworker Housing Development Corporation (FHDC) in Woodburn, where he was an extraordinary leader and community builder.
