In November 2011, Max Williams was selected to succeed Greg Chaillé as OCF president. Max begins his tenure at the Foundation today.
A native Oregonian who was born and raised in Bend, Max has a prominent record of service to the state. For the past eight years, he was director of one of Oregon’s largest public agencies, the Oregon Department of Corrections (DOC). Williams’ background includes a distinguished career in the Oregon Legislature where he represented Tigard for three terms, and a 12-year career as an attorney with Miller Nash, LLP.
He has a long history of volunteerism and service on various nonprofit boards.
